The Mariana Zapata Book That Started It All

Vanessa Mazur knows she’s doing the right thing. She shouldn’t feel bad for quitting. From Cold to Shimmering to a Slow Burn

Kulti By Mariana Zapata: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve re-read this book 4 times over the last year. When I loose hope that I find the next book that I will love, I turn to this book (and a few others). Kulti is about a soccer playing phenom that has had a crush on her favorite player for that last 17 years and suddenly He becomes her coach.  This is a slow, slow burn. The main characters start out as indifferent to each other, which leads to several funny moments between them. The heat seems non-existent at first, but then you start to feel it simmering under the surface. It takes most of the book to get to the payoff, but it is totally worth it. Trust me, Mariana Zapata is good at what she does and slow-burn is her game. ?? ?? ? ? ⚽️
